Who and what is Studio 6x4?
Studio 6x4 is a photography collective formed in 2017 and based in a small building in the north of England. It promotes the making of photographs with artistic intent and without the need for financial outlay or reward.
The studio's particular interest is in the publication of printed zines and books, which are made to order and offered at cost (the studio takes no profit). Studio 6x4 also hosts occasional exhibitions in its gallery and maintains a blog of original photopoetry, reviews and interviews.
All Studio 6x4 material is produced in-house and is approved for Free Cultural Works under a Creative Commons licence.
